A Dream

A bit ago, I had a dream--I dream quite often, and almost as much as I dream I remember my dreams.
So having a dream I remembered wasn't a rare occurrence.
My dream was about my trip to Africa. We were on the plane, and I started freaking out. Not like oh this stinks freaking out, like hyperventilating freaking out. No the plane wasn't crashing in my dream--but I had left my Kindle in Missouri. I was distraught, how in the world was I going to survive this crazy plane trip with nothing to read.
Ironic? Maybe, that my dream is about me not having my kindle, a device that the children in Africa will probably never have, and I'm going to Africa to deliver books--real books, a scare item in Africa.
Again I fall to my knees and beg for forgiveness. This girl needs to be humbled.
Thank you Lord for the opportunity to serve YOU.
may I do it always joyfully.

some days, or maybe most days people get these great visions in their head. One day I got one, to go to Africa. Inspired by my much younger cousin who went while he was in High School, well maybe not so much by him but by the pictures. Then I come to teach in St. Joe MO and one of my student's families adopted to African children. Beauty. that word describes everything that I saw in the pictures and in the children at our school. So begins my journey. the journey to venture to Africa, and venture hoping that I'll come back to the States.
so I'll leave you now--and say *joyfully africa*
